Pigeon appoints David Brown as Chief Financial Officer

Pigeon has appointed David Brown as Chief Financial Officer and a member of its Board. David joined the company on 5 October 2026.
A Chartered Accountant who trained with KPMG, David brings extensive senior finance and property experience to Pigeon. He spent 18 years at Greene King plc, holding a number of senior roles, including Finance Director (Corporate) and Interim Group Finance Director.
More recently, David spent five years as Chief Financial Officer at Martin’s Properties, a family-owned property company specialising in strategic land, commercial investment and development.
David has significant experience in raising both debt and equity, as well as supporting established businesses through periods of growth and change.
Pigeon’s activities span land promotion, commercial property development and investment, and renewable energy. Over the past year, Pigeon’s land promotion portfolio has increased by more than 60% and now represents more than 40,000 homes under promotion. Its commercial development pipeline stands at 10 million sq ft, while its income-generating assets have a current valuation of £150 million.
At Pigeon, David will lead the finance team and work closely with the Board to help shape and deliver the company’s ambitious plans for growth.
