Following an announcement last summer, Founding Directors Will Stanton and William van Cutsem have taken up their positions as Joint Chairmen of Pigeon Investment Management as of 1 January 2026.
James Buxton has stepped down from his role as Chairman, continuing as a Director of Pigeon Investment Management. He also continues in his roles as Executive Chairman of Pigeon Land and a Director of Cambridge Power.
Will Stanton, Joint Chairman, said: “It is an exciting time to be a part of the Pigeon business for our team, shareholders and investors. Each day brings a new opportunity for the business to grow our portfolio of land, now in excess of 22,000 homes. Our combined experience and track record continues to make us the partner of choice for many landowners, agents, and stakeholders across the East of England.”
William van Cutsem, Joint Chairman, added: “Along with our leading strategic land portfolio, we have commercial development and investment teams more active in the market than ever and we are constantly looking to increase the pipeline of opportunities.”
Prior to founding Pigeon, the two incoming Chairmen built up a wealth of complementary industry experience that continue to positively shape the company’s growth. Will Stanton is a former Savills (L&P) Plc board member and leads Pigeon’s strategic direction and company business development. William van Cutsem previously worked in the Investment Team at Savills and leads Pigeon’s investment teams for commercial and residential investment sectors.
James Buxton said: “Pigeon has gone from strength to strength since its inception, making use of the trusted relationship and expertise of its Founding Directors and underpinned by talented in-house support. I look forward to working with our incoming Joint Chairmen, the other directors, and wider Pigeon team to take the business onto the next stage in its development.”
