Major step forward for new homes in Alresford, Essex

Pigeon is pleased to announce that Tendring District Council has resolved to grant planning permission for proposals to deliver up to 100 new homes in Alresford, Essex.

The scheme will provide a balanced mix of housing, including specialist accommodation for older people, 30% affordable homes, custom and self-build plots, and properties aimed at first-time buyers. This approach addresses local housing needs while broadening choice within the market. In addition, the development will feature public open space, play areas, and dedicated walking and cycling routes, creating a high-quality living environment for both new and existing residents.
