Four Planning Applications Approved

Four Pigeon planning applications were approved during the first week of August.

  • St Edmundsbury Borough Council approved plans at Hopton for 37 new homes, a new GP’s surgery, an improved village hall, and a substantially enlarged village green
  • Forest Heath District Council approved plans for 375 homes and a school on land off Station Road in Lakenheath
  • A planning application for 138 new homes at West Row was also approved by Forest Heath District Council. This land was promoted on behalf of a local landowner and Suffolk County Council
  • An application at Woolpit for 120 new homes and a car park extension for the health centre was agreed by Mid Suffolk District Council. Pigeon was appointed by private landowners to promote the 16 acres of agricultural land, a planning application was submitted in March 2016.
