Broadland Gate, Norwich – Sale of Commercial Plots

Pigeon has now completed sales of over 50% of the plots on the 48-acre site at Broadland Gate, at the A47 and Broadland Northway interchange to the south east of Norwich.


Lidl had their planning application for a new 1,900 sqm foodstore to the north of the site approved at Broadland Planning Committee on 9 September 2020. This location is highly prominent and easily accessible. They will be a key anchor occupier for the northern area of the site.


The planning application for Norfolk Constabulary’s new Police Investigation Centre was also approved at Broadland Planning Committee on 9 September 2020. It will be the second of two new Investigation Centres to open as part of the Norfolk 2020 innovative.


A planning application has been submitted by GRIDSERVE for a new state of the art Electric Forecourt®.  The plot will provide 24 high-speed charging bays for electric vehicles, a coffee shop, convenience store, and an airport-style lounge area.


The sale of a one-acre plot to Pinnacle Engineers completed in June and following the grant of planning approval for the development of a new office building, construction is expected to commence later in the year.


The sale of a two-acre plot to Norfolk Land Development for a trade counter scheme completed in March, pre-lets have been agreed with national occupiers. Construction of the scheme has commenced following the grant of planning consent.
