Pigeon has been engaged to promote over 80 acres of land at Wickford following open competition with other land promoters and housebuilders. The Landowner invited a shortlist of companies to put forward proposals, and selected Pigeon to promote the land for residential development through the planning process. Pigeon has now appointed a professional team to undertake this work, and consultation with local stakeholders is already under way.

 

The land has capacity for up to 1000 dwellings, together with community facilities and infrastructure. There is also the potential to extend and enhance Wickford Country Park which adjoins the promotion site, and which is owned and managed by the local authority.
