Pigeon completed the purchase of a major 200 acre estate in Great Horkesley, Colchester in April 2014. The estate comprises Westwood Park, a Grade II listed Tudor Manor House, which was used for both residential and serviced office use. The estate also contained residential dwellings, agricultural land and a brownfield redevelopment site on the side of the A134.
The main house, Westwood Park, has been sold to an owner occupier, this will be followed by a phased disposal of the agricultural land and remaining residential dwellings.
A Resolution to Grant planning permission for 22 units on the greenhouse site, Little Horkesley, was unanimously approved at planning committee in November 2016.
